Smithbridge Stable is situated on 28+ acres of land, mostly pasture, in a beautiful wooded section of
Wakefield, Rhode Island. The farm features a 9-stall main barn as well as a shed-row style barn that houses
another 5 horses.
The turnout at Smithbridge Stable is extensive, with more than 15 pastures of all different sizes. Most of the pastures
have large run-in shelters and ample grass for horses on daily turnout or outside board.
There are 3 riding rings on the property: a 100' x 70' sand ring especially designed for beginners,
a
lighted 100' x 200' sand ring with a full course of
jumps, and a 200' x 200' grass hunt course with another full set of jumps.
There is also a round pen
for lunging and restricted turnout.
Miles of trails are accessible from the farm, featuring winding paths, beautiful scenery, and signs to guide you.
